While Abhishek Bachchan was his first choice (before Vivek ventured into making the film with Vashu Bhagnani and hence took over the responsibility of launching Jackky Bhagnani), Govinda was also supposed to be roped in for another important part in the film.



Vivek Sharma himself quips, ''It's true that earlier on I wanted to make this with Abhishek Bachchan. I had this script ready for quite some time and thought that he would be quite a good fit for the role of Nihal Singh in the film. However, every film has its own destiny. Though the film didn't start with Abhishek, I found Vashu (Bhagnani) to be quite interested in the script and we soon began work with Jackky.''

What went out of place?

''Well, all I can say is that somehow it didn't happen the way I had thought. We had to resume our search for the man who would play Kaalicharan don. Now that's a very interesting character in the film, but I won't reveal who is playing that part. Well, at least for now! So wait and watch'', concludes Vivek with promise of the mystery to be revealed in time to come.
