A holy visit by Bachchan couple

The Bachchan couple went to the Ganesh temple praying and paying obeisance recently. The God-fearing two some surprisingly took out time to visit a famous Ganesha temple while shooting Mani Ratnam’s film Raavan in Malshej in South India and followed their family tradition.




The couple’s visit to the temple was more than just a token gesture.They did not just walk in, pray, and walk out of the temple; rather they chose to be on the temple premises for some time. Sources from the unit of ‘Raavan’ are quoted as saying that Aishwairya and Abhi prayed to ask for the smooth progression and release of the film.

Reason? Actually many a reasons for that. A hell lot of incidents to prove that, take a look!

‘Raavan’ is being talked about in the industry as a jinxed film. The movie’s shooting got delayed because of the sudden ill health of Amitabh Bachchan, who doesn’t even star in the movie at the very beginning. Later, director Mani Ratnam had a heart attack and the shooting schedule was thrown out of gear. Even the shooting hasn’t been progressing smoothly. Also an elephant went berserk on the sets and killed a mahaut. Rains washed away the movie’s sets on another schedule and the unit also had trouble with forest officials. And now the hard time that unit is having going to the shoot site due to foggy roads is not hidden. So many mishaps seem too much to be seen as just coincidences, and it was about time when Ash and Abhi prayed to God for divine intervention.
