Abhishek Bachchan's Delhi 6 to get re- released.

This would be for the first time that Abhishek Bachchan will see his film getting re - released at the box office and that too with a new ending. The movie was released last year and was ill - received by both audience as well as media. As per the original plan, the death of Abhishek Bachchan's character was decided by director Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra. It was supposed to be a tragic end but with pressure from its producer UTV, the director decided to keep the ending a happy one. On the other hand, Abhishek had strongly advised his director-friend against the ending.

Now a year later, the film will be re - released shortly and that too with a new ending in which Abhishek Bachchan's character Roshan will die and the film will have a tragic ending.
The new version will coincide with Rakeysh embarking on his next directorial project, apparently the historical Mirza Sahibaan, which the director is now in the process of casting.

Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra is all set to introduce fresh talent in the film industry. He is getting a lot of aspiring writors - directors approaching him with innovative ideas, And he says that he cannot make all the movies he want to so he can give a chance to fresh ones to make some of them.
