Abhishek took award behalf of his wife

Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan could not make to attend the event, because of high fever and severe throat infection.

Organisers of the event want someone to take award on the behalf of Aishwarya Rai, her hubby Abhishek Bachchan attended the function to fill Aishwarya's place.




Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, posted on his blog, that Aishwarya had a restful day and there is slight improvement in her condition. There swelling inside her mouth, it was quite worrying , but after antibiotics it seem to be working and there is some relief. She s not able to take some liquid because of pain in her throat.
