Abhishek did not attend IIFA Awards

Bollywood celebrities’ director Mani Ratnam and actor Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan skipped IIFA Awards event which was in Sri Lanka this time. It was rumored that because of Tamil protest they have cancelled to attend IIFA.


Movie Ravaan was supposed to be screened at the International Film Academy (IIFA) Awards but the director Mani Ratnam has cancelled the screening and also refused to attend the function.

Nikhil told that, it is not true that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not attend the function because of protest but because of there upcoming movie’s post production they have to stay back.

It is quite obvious, that actor can’t leave there movie, which is specially doing with Mani Ratnam.
