Abhi- Aish not to attend screening of Raavan at Venice Film Festival

The earlier reports said that the Bollywood release Raavan by the filmmaker Mani Ratnam will be screened at the prestigious and respectful 67th Venice Film Festival. It was also said that the hot couple of Aishwarya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will mark their presence over there.

But the recent reports state that both of them would not be able to attend this event.
The reason behind why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will not be able to attend the screening of their movie Raavan is that they have prior promises to their brand endorsements and the stars have to fulfill them. As far as the festival is concerned, it will begin on September 1, 2010 and it will showcase the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film Ravanan and Raavan.

A source close to the matter said that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are unable to attend this Venice Film Festival because their earlier commitments clash with the same dates as the festival. Aishwarya is the brand ambassador of Longines and Abhishek Bachchan is for Omega.
