Abhishek will not be there in the remake of Agneepath

It would have been an interesting thing and a different experience for Abhishek Bachchan to act in the remake of Agneepath but things do not necessarily happen the way we want them to be. Earlier, there was news that Abhishek will be working as the lead actor in the remake of Agneepath, a legendary movie in which Amitabh Bachchan played the role of “Vijay Deenanath Chauhan” and got the National Award for Best Actor.

Now officially it has been announced by Karan Johar that Abhishek Bachchan will not be there in this remake of Agneepath. Instead the movie will star Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The sources close to the matter also say that certain roles woll be changed completely in this remake of the movie.

When Karan was questioned as to why Hrithik Roshan and not Abhishek Bachchan was taken in this remake of Agneepath, Karan Johar simply passed the responsibility to Siddharth Malhotra, the novice director who will be directing this remake of Agneepath. On the other hand it is a clear fact that everyone was expecting Abhishek Bachchan in this remake of Agneepath as he is the natural inheritor of this Agneepath role. As per Siddharth Malhotra the new Agneepath will be totally different from that of the original one.
