Plot-
Delhi-6 is a forthcoming Hindi (Bollywood) film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, and Divya Dutta.The movie is based on Mehra's growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi.
Abhishek Bachchan portrayed the role of Roshan an American-born Indian who brings his ailing grandmother back to India.The old walled city of Delhi, better known as Chandni Chowk,is a character in itself. It gives a picture of religion, beliefs and ethos of the Indian people. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra said that Abhishek Bachchan was always the first choice for Delhi-6.
The official trailer for the movie was released on January 4, 2009 which featured scenes from Delhi along with Jama Masjid, theatre groups, Red Fort at night.The movie had its first screening on February 15, 2009 in New York. The movie will be released on February 20, 2009.
Abhishek Bachchan with his fantabulous looks,great acting in the movie will won the hearts of the public and will surely build a success story in Bollywood.
