Box Office failure of Raavan disturbed Abhishek

Abhishek Bachchan who is known for his jolly and prankish behavior reveals that he turned into a recluse post the box office result of the movie 'Raavan' directed by Mani Ratnam. Tabloids missed him at social events and parties which he is known to frequent to.

RaavanSources close to the actor say that the failure of the movie Raavan left him devasted and he avoided social gatherings and kept himself busy in other projects of his. The actor during his interview with a popular tabloid said that it is upsets you to see something not flourish and liked especially when you've put a considerable amount of time and effort. Abhsihek further added that he respected the audiences' judgment but it is the Press that keeps throwing actor's failures at their faces even after six months.

When asked about the time after Raavan, Abhishek said that he just had to move on or in his exact words, 'get back on the saddle and keep riding'. On being asked about his quotient with Karan Johar and for not taking him (Abhishek) in the remake of his father's epic movie, Agneepath, the actor replies that he has no qualms about it and he trusts Karan Johar and his decisions while making a movie.

Talking about his forthcoming projects, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the movie titled 'Kheleinge Hum Jee Jaan Sey' directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar who has given Indian film Industry some great movies like Lagaan, Swadesh and Jodha Akbar.
