Department goes to Rana Daggubati

The most acknowledged face in South Indian cinema who has also amazed the Bollywood making debut in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum. Rana Daggubatti’s career judgments are being compared to those bigwigs like Vikram and Surya and at this the star said that he cannot sail on the same boat.Though it’s a known fact that Dum Maaro Dum failed to impress the audiences and failed at the box-office. But now Rana Daggubati is almost secured with his upcoming venture, Ram Gopal Varma’s Department. Now the news is spreading like fire that Rana substituted his DMD co-actor Abhishek Bachchan, in the movie. Rana stated that as Abhishek Bachchan was busy with his other work commitments and didn’t have the dates to shoot for “Department”.

The Tollywood actor have great respect and honrour for the Bollywood handsome hunk, so they will supposedly not develop any odd feelings for each other. Rana is also lokking forward to his Telugu venture titled, ‘Naa Ishtam’, opposite Bollywood superactress Genelia D’Souza. The buzz is making rounds that Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who had a rift with RGV since some days has finally called for a patch up and since the things are running well Amitabh has given his nod to play the character of a gangster turned politician. Whereas, Abhishek Bachchan stated that now the viewers just want to see their favourite stars performing new roles rather getting fixed to their old persona. We hope that this time with Department, Big B’s relations with the filmmaker remains cordial forever. Abhishek Bachchan will be seen next in Players , Bol Bachchan and Ladies and Gentlemen, and Amitabh Bachchan gonna feature in Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan which also features Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan.
