Abhishek at Lavasa Women’s Drive Awards

The award function for the winners of the Lavasa Women’s Drive was held at The Club, Andheri on 8th of April.



Many a women braved the heat and the cryptic map to reach Lavasa and around 250 cars participated in the Lavasa Women’s Drive. Although not all but many of them made it to Lavasa within time.

This drive was initiated in close association with The Women’s Cancer Intiative, Tata Memorial Hospital to raise the awareness for women’s cancer. Each car donated a part of the participation fee towards a donation for the cause. The award function was organized to give away the prizes to the top 10 winners on the basis of the regulations laid out by WIAA. It was ladies day out as all the female participants came to receive their awards and others just came to cheer them up.
The guest of honour was Mr.Abhishek Bachchan to make the women out there feel extra special. As the AB baby entered the function, got geared up and everyone got filled with unmatched zeal.



Abhishek looked quite classy and regal, a thorough gentleman. He was sporting a black blazer with a clean shaved look.
Abhi is changing looks for his characters in upcoming films Ravana and Pa.

Abhishek said he was honoured to be apart of such a noble cause and then he said he loves the company of women as he was born and brought up in a family where he was surrounded by females all the time. On request of the women out there Abhishek did few steps of his song "Sasural Genda Phool" from Delhi 6 along with the participants.

Abhishek although having such a tight schedule took time out for women as he cannot say no to them and this explains that why he has such a huge female following.

Abhishek playing Amitabh's father in 'Pa'

Whenever superstar Amitabh Bachchan has portrayed the role of a father
, he has fabulously managed to gather accolades. In fact, Indian
audience seems to love him for his grey look as much he was loved in
his younger days. And now, Amitabh is all set to reverse his role
with real-life son Abhishek for ‘Pa’.

R Balakrishnan (Balki), the director of ‘Cheeni Kum’, will now be
portraying Big B in a very interesting role in his forthcoming flim
‘Pa’. The father-son duo will now be reversing their roles in the
film, which means that now Abhishek will play Amitabh’s father in
the film.

Amitabh is playing a man who ages really fast and as a result looks
far older than his actual age. It took over three hours to put on
Amitabh’s make-up.

Well, Abhishek playing Amitabh’s father is sounding like a real
shocking news already!

Abhishek’s changing looks

Abhishek Bachchan has been on a foray this week to change his looks. Well, the act was not much to his personal liking but for the sake of getting into his characters for films.

Abhishek just had one day of shooting—for Balki's much-hyped ‘Pa’ that too for Amitabh Bachchan’s look—but son Abhi also had to go through two image makeovers. He rushed to Kuala Lumpur for the shoot that has been shifted there recently for hiding Big B’s look from prying eyes and moreover, had to go clean-shaven. Gone is the droopy-moustachioed look that he has been sporting for Mani Ratnam's Raavan .

However, the moment the shoot was done, he got back to re-growing his moustache. "The new clean-shaven look was needed. It was just one day's shoot for Pa,” said Abhishek. “Now, for next week, I have to go back to the earlier look for Mani."

Apparent form that is the fact that, Raavan look is a hot favourite among Abhishek's fans and he has had numerous requests to keep it permanently. However, he needs to sport yet another look for Abhinay Deo's untitled film.
