Genelia turns down Bol Bachchan

His status for over crowding his movies with top listed and enterprise completely male oriented movies has paid off for the most part for flawless Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty. But, with the latest twist of events Rohit might have to go back over this modus operandi that has often won him critical appreciation. According to the reports it has been said thatthe leading heroine in his upcoming production titled Bol Bachchan, Genelia D'Souza, felt unimportant in the Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan starrer and so, turned down the offer.
According to the grapevine, the maker of comedy films Rohit Shetty was rather shocked by the actress's opting out and made every possible effort to convince her to do the film. However, Genelia, who was to portray Bindiya Goswami's character in the original, was obstinate about not going ahead with the project anymore. A source clarified that while Rohit has had to return to cast another actress, his losses are not much as the movie has not yet gone on floors.

The source also said that if shooting was in course of action, Rohit Shetty would have to re-shoot with Genelia's substitute, which in turn would have increased the cost of the movie in every manner.At least now, producers Ashtavinayak will not have to put up with a opening in their pocket. It was a good chance for Genelia to opt out before the movie went on floors. When asked why she refused to do the movie, one of the source close to her mentioned that the actress read the script and while reading it she felt that she didn't have a very important character to play in Bol Bachchan. However, a buddy of Genelia came to her justification and rubbished these claims.

Source close to her said that her shooting dates are clashing with Navdeep Singh's movie, featuring Abhay Deol. With Genelia giving up her character in the flick, the film fraternity is already abuzz with assumption about her possible substitute. And it appears that actress Prachi Desai is the most likely in the wish list.It has been revealed that Rohit Shetty approached Prachi and she has given her nod to do the film but both Genelia and Prachi were unavailable to. comment

Abhishek to cast opposite a new girl in his next

Bachchan parivaar gets shocked

Abhi-John to work together

Since the fortune of Dostana's second version is still wobbly, the lead jodi Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham has decided to stop waiting for it and move ahead to other assignments. If all the things fall on the right place they will come together in the sequel of Kaante along with actor Arjun Rampal and Bobby Deol.A source disclose the whole matter mentioning that Abhishek and John's great chemistry in Dostana made them studded with a lot of fans. Both Bollywood heartthrobs are very fond of each other. They were looking forward to work again in the second series of the movie and as a result didn't sign any other films.

But since Dostana 2 isn't most likely happening, they have decided to accomplish their other jobs. Dum Maro Dum will release on Jr. B Birthday

Ramesh Sippy’s and Fox Star Studios upcoming movie Dum Maro Dum will release next year on Feburary 4, 2011. Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is starring in the movie, this is his second movie with Ramesh Sippy after super hit Bluffmaster.

Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox said that, we are excited about the script of the movie Dum Maro Dum. The releasing date is perfect because it is just before World Cup Cricket.

Dum Maro Dum is the third movie of Fox which is going to release at the same period, Slumdog Millionaire in 2009 and My Name is Khan in 2010 and there is another coincident on 5 February is Abhishek Bahchcna Birthday, he is playing a role of cop in the movie.

The movie is dramatic thriller, and shooted in Goa. It will be one of the best movie of year 2011, with blasting acting of Abhishek Bachchan.
