Abhishek Bachchan's Delhi 6 to get re- released.

This would be for the first time that Abhishek Bachchan will see his film getting re - released at the box office and that too with a new ending. The movie was released last year and was ill - received by both audience as well as media. As per the original plan, the death of Abhishek Bachchan's character was decided by director Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra. It was supposed to be a tragic end but with pressure from its producer UTV, the director decided to keep the ending a happy one. On the other hand, Abhishek had strongly advised his director-friend against the ending.

Now a year later, the film will be re - released shortly and that too with a new ending in which Abhishek Bachchan's character Roshan will die and the film will have a tragic ending. The new version will coincide with Rakeysh embarking on his next directorial project, apparently the historical Mirza Sahibaan, which the director is now in the process of casting.

Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra is all set to introduce fresh talent in the film industry. He is getting a lot of aspiring writors - directors approaching him with innovative ideas, And he says that he cannot make all the movies he want to so he can give a chance to fresh ones to make some of them.

Prabhu Deva wanted by Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan an the heir to Bachchan family who is also handling home production house AB Corp has run the final lap of post production process of his upcoming flick tilted "Paa" with real life Paa Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan. But there's no end to the plans of Junior B who has meticulously carried the production of this movie.




Abhishek has now signed Southern dancing sensation and superstar Prabhu Deva for his next production venture.

Sources close to Bachchans have revealed that Prabhu deva who also directed the movie Wanted with Salman Khan in it has agreed to direct another movie featuring Abhishek Bachchan which will, but obviously be produced by AB Corporation. The rumour circling the industry is that Prabhu Deva has started working on the script which will have plenty of romantic elements along with action sequences that southern film makers are famous for.The movie is expected to go on floors next year in the month of June.



The Bollywood Industry is eagerly watching Abhishek and Aishwaraya's effort to put ABCL back on its feet. Daughter in law and actress Aishwaraya is already looking after the marketing of her dear father in law Amitabh Bachchan's Paa hoping to create a banner of the home production in Bollywood.

However, it was not easy task to rope in Prabhu Devaa to work for AB Corp, especially after the success of Salman Khan starrer ‘WANTED’ that proved to be a blockbuster at the Box Office. In fact, Boney Kapoor, who had produced ‘Wanted ‘, was also in a hurry to sign Prabhu, but it was Abhishek who finally succeeded in luring the director towards his project.

Paa offers simple music

The Indian film composer, singer, lyricist Ilayaraja has composed tunes for the film Paa that mingles well with the movie's subject. Director R. Balakrishnan's film features Amitabh Bachchan as Abhishek's son Auro, who suffers from progeria that causes premature ageing. It also stars Vidya Balan as Amitabh Bachchan's mother.




Paa's album begins with 'Mudhi mudhi ittefaq se' by Shilpa Rao. The album is melodious but not for long period. The song is aired on television channels and has become a hit.

'Mudhi mudhi ittefaq se' has two more versions one is 'Udhi udhi' that is an extension of the original and 'Gali mudhi' that has sung by Shaan. Even in a slower pace the song is equally nice.

Other one is 'Halke se bol', which is a children's song and has a chorus behind the mike. Another situational number that doesn't impress too much is 'Hichki hichki' which is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.

The title song of the flick 'Mere paa' has been sung by Amitabh Bachchan himself. Last but nt the least there is 'Gumm summ gumm' sung by the composer's daughter Bavatharini with ample support from the chorus.

On the whole, Paa offers simple yet delightful music. Enjoy !!!

Abhishek to play a conman in "Special Chabbis"

After entertaining us as handsome crook in Bunty aur Bubbly and Bluffmaster,the actor is all set to play a conman Mohan Singh in Neeraj Pandey's Special Chabbis.Sources reveal that the actor was chosen because he too,like the original conman hails from Uttar Pradesh and is of the same age.

"I can’t deny that Abhishek is on board but I want to get some other key members of the cast in place before I make a formal announcement. "The film requires 26 actors and I want to make sure all of them are just right for their part." the director told the media.

The film Special Chabbis is based on the notorious jewellery store heist of the year 1987 where Mohan Singh recruited 26 men to play Income tax Officers who took millions of pounds worth of jewellery from a Mumbai Store.

Abhishek Bachchan is currently busy shooting for the movie "Paa" directed by R Balki and with post production process of Mani Ratnam's Ravana.

Abhi's Raavan songs are leak-proof

A R Rahman has said that the song Kaadhale…,in Mani Ratnam's film Raavan that stars strong and towering personality Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. This song is making waves in the internet that also claims that it is one of the numbers composed by Rahman is not from the film.




Rahman denied the news by saying, "Someone is pulling a fast one. There is no such song in the film." Priyamani is also playing a pivotal role and is happy about working under the director.

Abhishek's upcoming flick Paa is directed by R Balakrishnan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Vidya Balan. The film is a remake of an American movie. Raavan is set to release in 2010 and it also stars Vikram and Govinda.

Paa to release on December 4, 2009

To avoid a clash with another Bachchan starrer, the talented director Balki who has directed Paa has shifted the release date of his film and changed it to Decemver 4, 2009 from November 13.




Though he was excitingly waiting for project Paa to release, but as Mr. Bachchan personally requested the producers of Teen Patti to not allow it to clash with Paa. So it’s Paa solo on December 4.Bachchan plays a character of a progeric person in the film.

Says Paa director Balki, “As far as I’m concerned it was only Paa on December 4. We were supposed to release on November 13. But that was only two weeks after another Amitabh Bachchan starrer Alladin. And we couldn’t ask Alladin to shift. They’ve gone through too many delays,”

Balki before leaving for patchwork shooting in Lucknow where the last schedule of the film is being shot and where the film is set on Tuesday said that, “though Paa is set in Lucknow this is the first time I’m visiting the city in my entire life,” said Balki.

The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan and has been shot in various places including Delhi and Cambridge University, London.
