Race 2 – Abhishek in, Saif out ?

The latest buzz of Bollywood is that the shoot of the movie Race 2 will begin soon. But what is surprising is that according to the sources, Saif Ali Khan will not be there in this sequel. It has been said that Saif has walked out of this movie because of his tight and busy schedule.


So who is the lucky one to replace chote nawab? Well he is another nawab, I mean junior Bachchan, i.e. Abhishek Bachchan. Yes, if sources have to be believed then Abhishek Bachchan will be replacing Saif Ali Khan in Race 2. The star cast of Race included Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif while the sequel Race 2 will have Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and John Abraham . Ramesh Taurani is the producer for Race 2 and the movie will be directed by Abbas Mustan.

As far as Saif Ali Khan’s busy schedule is concerned, well the actor is busy with his home production movie, ‘Agent Vinod. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan is presently busy with Abbas Mustan’s ‘Italian Job’ remake film.

Abhi- Bebo want to work together

There are gossips going around that actress Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan may work together again after ten years. There was a cold war between both the actors because of the break up between Karishma and Abhishek. Abhi and Bebo starred together in their debut movie Refugee.


Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor are now ready to work with each other. Hope, we will see Abhi and Bebo togther in Sanjay Leela’s movie Hira Mandi.
Sanjay, is presently working with Hrithik Roshan, Guzaarish.

After that he will concentrate on his new project, he wants that Kareena will work in his next project Hira Mandi. But it was in news that Sanjay wants to stick with Hrithik Roshan in his forthcoming projects also. Hope, we will see Kareena and Abhishek together !!

Bollywood glamorous, beautiful lady Kareena Kapoor has done her debut with the actor Abhishek Bachchan, and now again she wants to do anther movie with him. Now, everything is change Kareena Kapoor is number actress and Abhishek Bachchan is super hero of the Bollywood industry.


Kareena has won several awards, in her acting career, she has won award for her super hit movie Jab We Met and 3 idiots, because of her outstanding work. She said if she get chance to work with Abhishek Bachchan then she will definitely accept the proposal.

Abhishek Kareena do not share cold vibes

Nothing like we all thought. We all have heard so many rumours that the Kapoors and Bachchans share cold vibes after the Karisma and Abhishek wedding was called off. Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan too fell apart following this regrettable split.

The duo made Bollywood debut together in "Refugee". They later came together in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Abhishek Bachchan has a special place for Kareena Kapoor in his heart as she was his first co-actress and do not share cold vibes with her.

Abhishek Bacchan says, "Bebo has always said that she was my first heroine and she will always be special for me. She is not only a very sweet girl but also one of the finest actresses. We started our journey together. So she is always special to me." On asking whether he would like to work with Kareena Kapoor again in future he says, "Of course, I will. People keep saying that I refuse to work with her. The
fact is that nothing worthwhile has come up."

Apparently, Abhishek Bachchan may act opposite Kareena Kapoor in Randhir Kapoor's upcoming movie.

Abhishek's good alone in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

Sooraj Barjatya's "Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon" starred Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri and Johnny Lever.


It was one of the biggest releases of the year 2003,anticipated to be a money churner at box-office like other Rajshri Productions movies.
The film,however, turned out as one of the most uninspired, insipid pieces of work to be manufactured by Bollywood studios in quite some
time.

Abhishek Bachchan stands out in this enterprise. His quiet, introspective performance is the shortest, but most impacting turn in the movie.Three years ago when the three stars in this film debuted, Abhishek was written off while Kareena and Hrithik became the critics' darlings. Abhishek, however, in an understated performance, completely upstages his contemporaries in this film.



The film follows the trials of a young woman, Sanjana (Kareena Kapoor), who lives a picture perfect life with her extended family, her pet dog, and a computerized parrot. Sanjana´s parents begin looking for a suitable husband for her. They find a man named Prem. Sanjana agrees to meet Prem (Hrithik Roshan), and a song and a dance later, falls deeply in love with him. But there´s trouble brewing. It turns out, there is another Prem (Abhishek Bachchan) in town. A love triangle forms, and Sanjana is forced to choose between the two Prem´s. But her choice can have dire repercussions; she has to choose
between her love for Prem (Hrithik) and her family´s wishes for her.

The film's cliché-ridden script may as well have come off of an assembly line, and Barjatya´s treatment is just as hackneyed. And Barjatya´s trademark preaching of traditional Indian values is present throughout; Not an ounce of the tons of melodrama in the film was compelling.



Kareena comes off as very inexperienced, mouthing dialogs synthetically, and going over the top in emotional scenes far too often. There's more to acting than making facial contortions and changing one's pitch, but Kareena doesn't seem to care for the art of performance anymore. The flair and elegance from "Refugee" and "Asoka" are just distant memories now. Hrithik's most unspectacular, boring
performance.

The rest of the character artistes in the film were mostly regulars from the Barjatya camp, and they continually slow down the film with their slapstick histrionics.

The film was packed with some of the glossiest stars in Bollywood. But was loud, superficial, and over-the-top in dealing with stale and tired subjects like love, family sentiment, and responsibility. The only refuge was in Abhishek's subtleness and introspective performance but did not help him in his career prospects.

Refugee is a Bollywood film directed by J. P. Dutta,a refined directors of the bollywood industry. The movie was released on 30 June 2000. The film starred the debut of Abhishek Bachchan, son of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor part of the famous Kapoor family. The film performed well at the box office and was the fifth highest grossing film of that year.


Plot:


Refugee is all about the actions of a man who has no name or identity but is simply known as Refugee, the role that Abhishek Bachchan portrayed. The man helps muslim refugees to cross the border illegally but this is soon put under watch by the authorities who find out that some illegal activities are taking place in the area.





In the other part of the film the man falls in love with Naaz (Kareena Kapoor) whose family also wants to cross the border. The girl also falls in love with him. The Pakistani Border Officer Mohammad Ashraf, whose role is portrayed by Sunil Shetty is also in love with the same girl. It's a triangular love story.

The other cast of the film are Shadaab Khan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Reena Roy, Mukesh Tiwari, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sudesh Berry, Avtar Gill, Vrajesh Hirjee, Puneet Issar, Anupam Kher, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Geetawali Rajkumari.

If we talk about the songs of the film Javed Akhtar has beautifully written each and every lyrics for every song. The music was liked by all and the film got two National Film Awards; one for Best Music Direction and the other for Best Lyrics (Panchi Nadiya)
